Candle-Making Class: Winter to Spring Competition

Become a mixologist and not only create your very own candle, but compete for your candle to come out on top! You'll choose from a variety of jars, oils, glitters, crystals, & flowers to make a candle that fits our theme: Winter into Spring. Within a week of the class, we will blindly judge each scent and choose one winner. The winner will (in addition to bringing their winning candle home) receive a $25 gift certificate to our shop. Then, we will re-create their scent in a small batch of candles, which will be featured in our Spring Subscription Box, plus offered in our shop for a limited time.

As the winner, you'll get to choose how you'd like the decor to look (the glitter, crystals, flowers), and what to name the candle (must fit the theme of that particular class). All decorations are done for you by the class instructor.

Each class can take about 45-60 minutes depending on class size, and there is some downtime where we will be waiting for the wax to cool down so feel free to bring your friends and drinks of your choice for this fun low-key class! (alcohol permitted).

Please note: Candles take about an hour to set, so pick-up will be another day, and not that same evening. We also provide the option to ship candles as well if a future pick-up doesn't work for you!

Your ticket includes one 10 oz jar and your choice of glitter, gemstones, and flowers if desired. The class teacher will add the decorations for you after the candle solidifies.

***The candle will need time to solidify before you take it home, so you can either pick it up another day or get it shipped to you.***

NOTE: We do not offer refunds for these events, but if you let us know ahead of the class time that you cannot make it, then we can reschedule you to a different day. This credit expires after 30 days. No-call / no-shows do not receive this credit to reschedule your class. We value our instructors’ time and energy, and we appreciate a heads up if you are unable to make it to class so that they can be compensated for their time. Thank you!
