About the event
Looking for a fun activity for your kids this summer? Join Taylor in this kids yoga class! This class teaches kids about the basics of yoga- they’ll learn different poses that incorporate strength, flexibility, and balance. We’ll practice deep breathing exercises, learn about “savasana” (final resting pose), and they will even get to choose a crystal to meditate with and bring home!
Kids yoga offers numerous benefits, including improved physical health, enhanced mental focus and emotional regulation, and increased self-esteem. It promotes flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination while also teaching mindfulness and stress management techniques. Additionally, yoga can boost confidence, improve attention spans, and enhance social skills.
Mats are limited, so please bring your own if you have one as well as water and comfortable attire! This class is for children ages 5-13. It is a 45-minute class.
