About the event
Join us for this sabbat celebration as we learn all about the history and traditions of Lughnasadh. You'll be guided through a healing meditation and we will also be doing a ritual to honor this season. You'll also learn how you can celebrate and incorporate your own traditions into this special time of year. We will conclude the class with an oracle card pull.
Lughnasadh (pronounced loo-nah-sah) is an ancient Celtic festival celebrated on August 1st that marks the beginning of the harvest season. It represents the midpoint between the Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox, traditionally honoring the first gathering of crops, hard work, and community. Today, Lughnasadh is observed by modern pagans, Wiccans, witches, and those who simply want to connect with the seasonal rhythms of nature.
All are welcome. Please bring your own mat if you have one and whatever else you would like with you to feel most comfortable during this meditation (blankets, pillows, etc). We do have some extra mats available, but they are first come first serve. You can also bring a journal or paper and something to write with.
NOTE: We do not offer refunds for these events, but if you let us know ahead of the class time that you cannot make it, then we can reschedule you to a different day. This credit expires after 30 days.
No-call / no-shows do not receive this credit to reschedule your class. We value our instructors’ time and energy, and we appreciate a heads up if you are unable to make it to class so that they can be compensated for their time.
